2. What data we process

To use Bimble we process information such as account data, trip content, notes, photos, documents and messages in the trip chat. If you grant location access, we use it to find nearby points of interest and to show your position on the map. For subscriptions and passes we process usage and purchase information so that quotas can be managed correctly.

3. Legal bases

  • Performance of a contract: account, trip planning, audio guides, subscriptions and passes
  • Consent: location access, notifications and photo access
  • Legitimate interest: protection against abuse and cost, technical stability

4. Recipients and processors

We use services such as Supabase, Anthropic, OpenAI, Google Places, Wikipedia, Apple and Amazon SES to operate the app, generate content and send email. For error and crash diagnostics we use Sentry with servers located in the EU. For transfers to the USA we rely on the applicable data protection mechanisms in each case.

5. Retention

Your data is kept for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, the associated data is generally removed. Statutory retention obligations remain unaffected.

6. Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time yourself. In the app: Profile → Delete account. Alternatively, an email to support@bimble.travel is enough. Deleting the account removes the associated trip data; statutory retention obligations remain unaffected.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection. For access and data portability you can contact us at support@bimble.app. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

8. This website

This website is hosted by Cloudflare and works without tracking, analytics tools or cookies. When you visit, the host processes technically necessary connection data such as the IP address; the legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating the website securely.

9. Changes

We may adapt this policy when the app or its use changes. The version in force at any time can be found on this website.
